First Voice of the Il'khan
First Voice is a taxing
and dangerous position. The First Voice is responsible for those speaking
and representation engagements that are either too menial or too dangerous for
the actual King to attend. The First Voice carries on him the weight of
all the Voices, and is
responsible for each of their actions. This position also carries the
responsibility of speaking for the King in some conditions, which means that he
must know the King very, very personally. The First Voice himself rarely
engages in espionage, rather, the Voices that accompany him are more likely to
do the work.
